It's been quite long enough since we've had a charity ball, I think. Early September, maybe? Oh, the first is a Saturday, how perfect! I'm not sure of the theme yet, so I'm open to suggestions. If we went for a September 1 date, that's about a month to plan, which of course is plenty of time, but only if we get started straight away. I wonder what Mother will think and what ideas she will have. She usually has the best ones.

I adore my parents. We missed my birthday in April because I was planning an event for that orphanage way back when, so when I finally had time, they surprised me with three weeks in Cancun! I have the best tan now, I'm so excited. Audrey, I have to talk to you. I took about a zillion pictures, met the cutest guys, and you'll never believe the scenery. I think we should move there, if not for all the tourists. The abruptness of the vaca was odd though, so I've been thinking we might have had to make a hasty getaway because someone was trying to kill us. That's silly though, because anyone trying to kill us is just ridiculous, so I haven't thought too much about it.

My my my, how time flies! And not even necessarily when you're having fun, either. I haven't actually been too, too busy, just busy enough to keep me, well, busy (ha), and I have been writing, I just prefer to write about the events and such that we go to in an actual journal, not an online one, just because I do actually like writing. Perhaps I should just pick one so I don't neglect the other.
Anyway, I've been listening to a lot of music, mostly this fantastic Irish band, Flogging Molly? Absolutely wonderful. They've been around for ages, I've no idea how I just now heard of them. Oh well, I probably need to visit the clubs more anyway.

Daddy's invited a few members of Parliament and some other important people over for dinner next week, and I can't decide which dress to buy for it. Of course it's still March, so it can't be too short or strapless, and anyone Mum would probably throw a fit if I looked like a tramp, so I've narrowed it down to this one, this one, this one, this one, this one, OR this one.
Wow, that's more than I intended. But I can't decide! Ugh, this is bloody awful, trying to decide. I'm 24 and still single -practically a catastrophe! I need to impress some of them, maybe get a date (from the younger ones, of course) or two.
Oh time to sleep! I'm visiting an orphanage with an ice cream truck (which was my idea!) with Mum in the morning and I've got to be rested. Ta ta!
